Default cruise control help

hey guys im new to the boards and it seems like the civic section gets more action and i dont think cruise control will be different in the cars. i have a 97 accord auto i use as a daily driver, i love the car but since i bought it used about 3 months ago the cruise control never worked. that is the only thing i dont like about the car. i could use cruise control alot. are there any common problems with cruise control in accords? the main button under the vent lights green when i push it but the speed never sets or anything. there is no light that comes on either in the dash. is there any fuses or relays i should be checking?also are there any vacum lines anywhere i should check for the cruise control unit? i dont have a manual for the car. any help??
thanks!

Default Re: cruise control help (wwmost)

If this helps, i drive a 2000 civic si and my cruise control never worked. Recently i took off my type r intake mani, and put the stock one back on. Pretty much I connected a vacuum line from the intake manifold to this part in the top right corner(if you're standing in front of your car) of ur engine bay... kinda near the clutch oil. That pretty much fixed my cruise control.
