Default Hesitation/jerking on acceleration

Hi!

I have a 2006 Accord 4 cyl with 82,000 miles on it. It seems when I accelerate from a dead stop the car hesitates before it moves forward and it is jerky when I barely push the pedal. It only appears to be doing it in 1st and maybe 2nd gear.

Sometimes at highway speeds I can feel a little jerk, like I'm turning the AC on and off, but I might just be paranoid...

Anyway I want to change out the TPS, has anyone else done this? It almost looks like it is located near the firewall sorta by the right tire. I looked on the throttrle body but am unsure what to look for.

Any help would be nice! Thanks!

Why are you going to replace the TPS, nothing better to do?

Plus I'm pretty sure the 06 uses an APP sensor.

That is what I thought was the TPS near the fire wall...

I'm a fan of testing things and not guessing, spending money.

Any stored codes?

Does this happen all the time or only once the car is at normal op temp?

I have not had a CEL for a long time, it was 15k ago and was for running lean. The dealer found a loose vacuum line and re flashed the computer.

At first I seemed to notice it happening when the car was cold and it always seemed to have hesitation, but now it seems to always happen when accelerating from a stop. When I press the pedal for a hard acceleration it doesn't seem to do it. At highway speeds I can feel little jerks as if the brakes are applied for a second, It seems to be getting worse.

The point of testing still stands.
