Bogs at WOT
I have this problem with my car when i am launching it at like 4-5 and it spins for a second then i full throttle it really fast, just punch it and it just bogs so bad like it dies as if i hit a fuel cut for a half second then it goes to normal and pulls out of it. i can also do it when im driving around 4-5k in 1st gear and just punch it all the way really fast and it just bogs. normal driving is okay everywhere else just in those two situations when i quickly punch it in 1st gear. does anyone know what it could be? would a bad map or tps sensor do this? glitch in tune? thanks.....
i was thinking if itwas a tps wouldnt it do it all the time dont matter what kind of load? cuz it only does it in 1st. hmm ignition system when cold does this?? well my car is warm all the time when this happens i never gun it when its cold. im using a stock ignition system with those RM sparkplugs. it worked with my ctr cams i dont know why it wouldnt work with my m22s minus the sparkplugs. maybe i will change the sparkplugs and try again. but then again wouldnt a weak ignitino system do this all the time and not just in 1st gear? thanks
That's strange that it only does it in first gear. the ECU doesn't have a clue what gear you are in.
punch it in 5th at a fairly low rpm, does it bog?
I would barrow a known good distributer/wires from a friend and try that first. It's a simple way of checking a hell of a lot of stuff at the same time.

tried it in other gears it will do it in 2nd and 3rd and probaly rest too but only at 4300ish rpm and i gotta punch throttle all the way down hella fast or it wont do it.
oh yeah strange thing if it was the fuel map then i would think it would do it at full throttle at that rpm all the time but it only does it when i punch it starting from taht rpm not if i full throttle from lower rpm and pass through it.

OK, it's possible for a defective TP sensor, MAP sensor, or ignition component to cause a symptom similiar to this. The problem I have with condemning those components is that you should be able to re-create that symptom in other RPM ranges with similiar loads or throttle activity (if any of those components are defective).
You have told us that it only occurs between 4300~4500rpm (in any gear) when stomping on the loud pedal, and that it started when you replaced the CTR camshafts with M22's.
What ECU is your S200 installed in (P72, P30, P28)? Is your VTEC activated around 4400rpm? Are you running N/A or Forced induction? Who tuned your ECU with the CTR cams? Did you RETUNE your ECU after installing the M22 cams? ETC...

i would if i could... i dont have any pictures of it and the only way i could get it is by going back to modacar or someone who has all the hondata stuff so they can read my chip. but you think it might be like one of the cells in the table could be blank?
I'm leaning toward the idea that the partial load cells in that RPM range might need to be tweeked slightly. The way you describe the symptom, I get the impression that the far left load cells (high vacuume) and far right load cells (WOT) are probably OK. It's the ones in between you need to look at. I bet Casey would be willing to peek at the .bin file and burn you a new chip if necessary.
Let us know how it goes.

I changed out the ecu and hondata with my friends and it still does it. It seem like it didnt bog as hard but it coulda just been me but it is still there. so anyone got some more ideas? im gonna tripple check my wires and see if its my car...
