Engine Power Limitation in PCM if powerbraking automatic?
I am curous about this, but it seems with my 2007 EX V6 automatic, that if I apply the brakes and apply throttle, whether slight of WOT (powerbraking), then let off the brakes, the car will proceed slowly to accelerate for about 1 or 2 seconds as if on reduced power (no matter how far the gas is down), then WHAM full throttle power is available. This is unlike most older cars where you benefit from powerbraking, it seems in this car it slows you down, as it will not even squeel the tires when you let off the brake, while simply punching the accelerator without powerbraking will easily break them loose!
I guess what my main question is, is do our 7th Gen V6 Accords have a similar system to what I read in the Nissan 350z, where the PCM sense the application of brakes and throttle at the same time and reduces the engine throttle "behind the scenes" to prevent damage to the drivetrain???
Thanks!
