2011 Honda Accord door locking problem
Hi, I have a 2011 accord EX-L V6 and my two back doors will not lock if they are unlocked or unlock if they locked, this problem is intermittent. My front doors locks work fine. This happens with my alarm fob and using the controls on the driver and passenger doors.
Also, I haven't narrowed it down to how many doors, but my locks continue to relock each time I hit 15-20 mph.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your assistance

I would make a dealership visit since you should still be under warranty. We had a 10 with similar issues the other day

Re: 2011 Honda Accord door locking problem
I have a 2008 accord with a similar problem.
Everytime my car reaches the "lock the door speed", which is I believe 9mph on my model, it triggers the door locking.
Additionally, the left rear door randomly doesn't unlock. You have to flip it by hand.
I'm more interested in fixing the issue with the door locking kicking everytime I pull out. Is this a relay problem?
You said you had 10 similar problems the other day (I presume at work?)
My car is not in warrantly any more, so taking it to a dealer is not going to happen. I am capable of changing a relay out If that's all it might be.
Appreciate any insite on what may cause this.
My wifes car does this sometimes too. She also drives a 2008 accord (we bought two at the same time!)

Re: 2011 Honda Accord door locking problem
Still wondering if anyone knows about the door lock tripping every time the car speeds up past 9 MPH...
Still haven't found any fix for this.

Re: 2011 Honda Accord door locking problem
I know this thread is old, but there was no answer here, so I thought I would finish it. Inside the locking actuator, there is a microswitch that lets the car know the status of the door lock. Once all the locks are engaged, the auto-lock will not try to lock the doors again when you hit the magical speed. To keep it from doing this every time you go below the set speed of auto-locking, just engage the locks manually on the doors that have questionable actuators and it will stop unless you have an indication switch out, or your not getting power to the indicator.

Had the same problem and took it to a local mechanic I know wouldn't shaft me. It turned out to be a faulty actuator - driver's side door. Mine was also with a 2011 Accord EX-L.

May I ask about how much did it cost to fix your actuator? My driver side door is not locking via key fob or from the power lock button on the door.
