2005 Honda Accord won't start
Hi All,
I changed the oil in my wife's 2005 Honda Accord yesterday afternoon.
I tried out the Mobil 1 0W-20 synthetic and a Fram Toughguard filter.
After changing the oil, I ran the car and checked the level, all good. Ran great.
I left the windows down and went and cut the grass. I went out to put them
up after dark once I had eaten supper and it was raining.
It may have been raining 15 minutes with the windows down.
I ran and put the windows up and towelled off the seats and armrests while
sitting in the car. I ran the A/C with the heat on to dehumidify the car and
then went to bed.
This morning the car would not start. No lights, no clicking, no nothing. Nothing
that indicated that the car even had a battery in it.
I checked the battery, fuses, etc.. all good.
Any ideas?
?

sometimes the alternator fuse being blown causes this symptom... remember that you need to continuity test that fuse or replace it... checking by site is not effective. There also may be a ingnition/key lock issue... specially if water had gotten in there.
Check simple things first... battery ground, fuses etc then go to more complex issues.
How do you know your battery is good?

I am willing to bet the battery is completely dead. You probably left something on when you went to bed without knowing it.
Water isn't friends with electronic devices but unless it's in a hurricane, 15 minutes probably didn't hurt your car.

On that year accord I am not sure where the fuse is housed, look at your fuse box for info... One thing is , the issue would not be intermitent if it were the alt fuse. the car would simply appear dead. Intermitent non start could be related to the ignitor under the rotor cap, or part of your coil pack system if you have that
