2005 Accord stalls when clutch depressed
Hi Everyone,
I have a 2005 Accord with a manual transmission. If I'm in neutral or 1st gear and push the clutch all the way down the RPMs drop to under 500 and the car dies. If if rev the engine to keep the RPMs up the car won't die out. Now I just replaced the clutch slave cylinder 2 days ago because the rubber boot on it was smoking w/o any visible leak around it. The car was having trouble starting the cold weather and the batter was old so I replaced that today but the issue with stalling in neutral or 1st gear is still present. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
Thanks,
-Mike

Check your clutch brake fluid reservoir, if it's low or empty you have a leak in your clutch system either the clutch slave cylinder or your clutch master cylinder. If the reservoir is full your clutch is gone
