Default Wheel offset and spring/ride height

I have a 1992 Accord 2 door that I just purchased. I want to put some wheels and springs on it first. What I would like to know is what is the offset of a 17 x 7 inch wheel that will not rub my fender if I do the 2 inch drop. I see so often guys driving around in these so called street racers with the wheels sticking out past the fenders, this is what I do not want! Thanks in advance.

P.S. I am looking at some ADR DV-8 or ADR Sokuda 8 17 x 7" wheels with 40 mm offset.

Depending on the tire size you select you should be just fine..

Pahahahahaha

You should be fine with a 2" drop and 17"s.

My point was, I don't want my wheels sticking out past the fenders. If I want to go lower as my car progresses I don't want to have to purchase new wheels.
