Default Replacing entire Distributor /Timing

For 1992 Accord F22A4 engine. Does replacing the entire distributor assy require new timing?

Get a timing gun.

Agree, Yes you will need to set the base timing and that will require a timing gun to set it.

That being said, you do not need to touch anything related to the crank and camshaft timing. Unless you removed the timing belt or have suspicions that the belt may have jumped a tooth.
