What kind of alarm is it?

Sometimes there will be a seperate fuse for the parking lights on the alarm harness. This happened to my Viper alarm and it was the fuse on the alarm.

I would check that first.

Keep us posted.

Also do the parking lights function normally other than the alarm problem?

Yes it would be a fuse on the actual alarm harness.
You need to look under your dash, that is usually where all your alarm stuff is located.

This is the exact same problem mine had and thats what it was.
