Crazy alarm problems...NEED HELP!
As far as I know this is the factory alarm. The remote says Prestige and the alarm box underneath the seat has an Acura label on it.
And the problem...
I was putting new taillight gaskets on and pinched a wire. When I armed my alarm it bew the tail lamp fuse and one of the 3A fuses that are under the dash that go to the alarm. I replaced tail light fuse and everything appeared to work, except when I arm/disarm the alarm the lights do not flash. When I replace the 3A fuse then alarm causes the turn signals, front and rear to begin flashing, if you try to start the car the siren will sound. I tried turning the key to the ON position and the ACC position and pressing the valet mode button, and I have yet to see any changes.
Any ideas?

Your OEM alarm would not have a Prestige remote, The OEM alarm is made by Alpine and the remote will have Acura on it also, not Prestige, Prestige is made by Audiovox.
My guess is that there is a Prestige alarm installed, [without removing the OEM alarm].
What model and year of Acura?

This may sound stupid but what you're saying sounds to me like the alarm is going off when you put the power fuse back in which is normal. So just hit the disarm button?
If you can get to the actual alarm brain, unplug the main harness to reset it.
I'm not familiar with that alarm though.

The alarm doesn't go off, the lights just start randomly flashing and when the car is attempted to start the lights will stop flashing and the siren sounds while turning the key, if you stop turning the key the siren will stop.
I am going to tinker with it at work today, but I am sure I will not have a successful outcome.

It sounds to me like there may be a grounding problem, but first recheck the fuses, the alarm should have 2 fuses, the main fuse is a 15A on the red lead, [main power] the "light flash input" lead, [red/white] should have a 5A fuse in it.
Will the alarm go into "valet" mode?
Turn ign. key on, press and hold the valet/program button until LED comes on solid.

Nah, there are two 3A fuses under the dash in one holder. Maybe these are to the factory alarm and is interfereing with the Prestige alarm. I cannont find any trace of another alarm other than the Acura one under the car, but maybe it is well hidden. I read the manual, but the car will not go into valet mode. Is there a way to reset the alarm brain?
UPDATE: With the door shut the "dinger" goes off and after you unlock and lock with the remote everything seems fine, but it will not allow the car to start. I have crawled under the dash and cannot seem to find any other fuses. All of the wiring is a jungle under there and the dash needs to be removed but I do not have the time to do so.
I am now going to unplug the Acura alarm box under the car to see if it interferes with anything, and if not, and toss it in my old parts pile.
