My Car = Totaled... HELP!
Picture this: Your leaving school one day, when suddenly a bus pulls out in front of several cars in front of you. You hit the brakes, and stop successfully with out hitting the car in front of you... then some punk kid in a suped up Caviliar come racing towards you at about 30 mph. You hear the car hit and you turn the wheel as your almost pushed into the car in front of you. You get out of the car, see his car is crunched... and the damage on yours is minor... here's the catch. The insurance company wants to total it... What would you do?

depends on the situation.
if they want to total it then there ain't **** you can do. there's gotta be something wrong enough with it to caused them to think this way.
collect the insurance money. buy the title back from the insurance co.
collect the insurance money. buy a new car.
find out how much they are willing to settle for. and find out how much you could buy the title back for.
