Master Cylinder, Pedal Sinks When Hot.

Master Cylinder, Pedal Sinks When Hot.
I just got a 1994 Accord Ex Coupe. Sometimes when its hot I notice that the pedal (brake) isn't consistant and sinks lower than it did before. I don't think its a leak as I'm not seeing anything leaking. I'll watch the brake fluid level though.
So how does one go about testing the booster? same goes for the m/c?
Being that its only happening when its warm could it be that the fluid is boiling?
I searched also.
Thanks

Yeah man i had a similiar problem after I had a set of front pads installed and my front rotors machined. I got a new set of seals put in the master cylinder and it was all good after that

First thing I would do is bleed your brake system and replace fluid if needed.
Does it happen after a bit of driving or does it do this right off the bat?

It happens after some driving.
I figure I'd flush the brake fluid first as it would be the cheapest possible fix. The brake fluid in the tank was dirty.
How hard is it to change the seals on the MC?
Thanks

Yea I would replace the brake fluid with clean fluid and bleed the system then recheck to see if the pedal fails. With the seals on the MC typically there is a spring inside that fails to 'reset' or 'lift' due to it being worn down (if I recall right when I replaced mine). I don't recall any seals, I just replaced my entire MC and popped it in, bled the brake lines and whiola...the pedal didn't sink and was solid.

do0nt waste your time bleeding brakes or replacing fluid you need to replace your brake master it is leaking internally thus you wont see any leaks ,,go with a honda master that way you dont have to worry about push rod being out of adjustment
