Default Hi flow cat problem

I put a flow through cat on my '98 Accord and after
one day the check engine light lit up.

Assuming this is an O2 Sensor issue, is there anyway to
correct the light being on all the time?

A higher temp O2 Sensor? or... ?

Anyone ?

Thanks.

What code did you get for the CEL? Did you get a real high-flow cat, or did you get resonator off eBay that's labeled as a high-flow cat? If you have a real high-flow, what brand is it?

I can almost gaurantee you the problem is not the O2 sensor.

It was labeled as such off eBay. Just happened yesterday, so I haven't had the time to get the ECU codes checked. I just assumed it was the sensor. What else can it be? Thanks a heap.

Most likely all you got was a resonator. A real high-flow cat will cost $100 or more (usually more). Most eBay cats are nothing but resonators. If you give me a link to the one you bought (or another one from the same seller) I can tell you for sure.

A CA high flow real cat cost about 400 bucks bolt on, the others are around 100 that have to be welded on.
