Hey, I'm new to this site and am about to do an engine swap on my car. I have a manual 01 Honda Accord lx with an f23. I found another f23 but it had an auto transmission. I'm wondering will it work in my car and if so will I need anything for the swap? I don't wanna change it to auto, I just wanna use the motor. Thanks

all you need to do is use a few parts from the motor coming out to use the motor originally fitted with an auto. swap the flex plate and shorter flex plate bolts for the flywheel and longer bolts; swap the engine wiring harness from the manual so you don't have spare connectors hanging loose; compare the engines side by side, esp. the intake manifolds just in case I've forgotten something. if anything is different, swap it over from the original.
