F22B SOHC non VTEC swap with F22B SOHC VTEC
I have a 97 accord lx, it has an F22 non vtec engine, my girlfriend has a 94-95 accord ex, with an F22 VTEC engine. Both are SOHC with the same block and in the same generation.
I'm wondering what it would take to swap the heads, put the VTEC on my car. Would ECU have to be changed? Anything else have to be done?
Any feedback would help, thanks!

You will need to add the VTEC wiring. Other than that it is the same thing. You will have to use your injectors since the clips are different on the harnesses and it's not really worth it to splice them as the injectors are the same. You will have to use either her ECU with a harness adapter or just get a OBDII computer. A manual ECU can't be used on an automatic car because the plugs for the TCU are missing, the other way around works but will throw a code (not really significant). You will have to use your EGR as the VTEC and non VTEC EGR deals are different. The timing belts are different (top) and the head gaskets are also different. The is an oil orifice that will need to be removed on the B2 block and put on the B1 block (when changing the heads). A lot of work and money for no power...
