hi guys,
anyone know what would cause a backfire when u shut the car off. whenever i turn the car off, it sounds like the engine shakes and follows thru the exhaust shaking that also.... the ignition wires are in the rite spot..

 

damn im really not sure but maybe ur car jumped timing or something

 

not sure what could be, but a starting point would be to check your timming.

 

check all the basics...

timing, plugs, oil, fuel pressure, etc...

If it was pig rich it might be loaded up hard and thus the motor does not wanna shut off?
