Default Changing Headers

I am thinking about changing the headers on my '00 accord, and I'm wondering how hard it is. Anyone know? Is it a DIY or do I have to pay a mechanic to do it? Any good guides on how to do this? Does the performance increase considerably?

Also, a bit of an embarrassing question, what is the difference between a header and an exhaust manifold?

Thanks a lot, sorry for my noobness.

Its not that tough to do, the car has to be completely cool first off. Secondly you'll need some jackstands and a hydraulic jack, or even a ramp might suit better. Its a matter of bolts coming off, placement and then bolts going on. A friend of mine did his, and from watching it, he had this little contraption that allowed him to hold up certain parts of it while he bolted it in, like a little crank arm.

I think Header is the word the aftermarket world uses, and an exhaust manifold is what the OEM manufacturer names the same part. Is it a 4 or 6 cylinder motor?
