Default Braking problem

Hey, i drive a 4th gen 1990 accord
in teh winter every once in a while when i pushed on the brake to stop the brake would just continuie to move in until it reached thefloor
on warm sunny summer daysit happens every time i try to brake
it just moves straight down into the floor, yes it does stop but i have to really push down be4 it hits the floor so i can stop on time or i have to realease and push the brake again...any ideas on whats wrong and what i should do 2 fix it?

I have the same problem, it is the master cylinder that is bad.

you could just have water in the lines, not alot just a drop or 2 will cause the fluid to go bad. you might just need to bleed the brake lines and replace the fluid

Bleed the brakes before you go replacing parts. 90% of the time, bleeding is the answer.
