Adding Keyless entry to a 97 EX 4 door?
Anyone know how difficult a chore this would be for the avg. level home DIY-er? I've been told by my dealership that my car doesn't have the systems installed, so I can't just get the key fobs and program them. Any recommendations on aftermarket brands and maybe tutorials or step-by-step's anywhere I could access to find out how to wire it? I'm just trying to get any kind of keyless put in. I've got a pretty good knowledge of wire and cable repair, so I would just need the details of the specific wires to tap in to. Thanx.

i would suggest getting a cheap little $100 one from circuit city or something like that and just having them install it for you, its only 30 extra bucks and their work is under warranty so you wont have to do your own troubleshooting if something goes wrong. Its what I did for my 94 and its working just fine and dandy for about 6 months now
