Well I got ahold of jlbmotorsport and they sell 24k chrome gold jmags so thats probably what Im looking for. He messaged back asking if I wanted the price for those or the painted dull ones, I asked for the price of the chrome gold and some white track rs. Ill probably be getting either of those 2 within like a week, finally my god.

 

Can you guys post some engine bay shots? I have a teal Integra and I dont know what color to paint my valve cover.

Well what colors are you wanting to work into your car.
Lots of people match their rims, their paint, you can use the valve cover to compliment the paint or the rims by having an opposite color. Some real nice ones people doing completely costume paint jobs, Ive seen oldschool nintendo controllers, sheetmetal and hardware, ive seen skulls, gucci print, have fun and be creative. Im planning on matching my rims once I get em, I dont have any pics of MY engine bay, mainly cause before any of its worth looking at I need to do a major swap. But here is my FAVORITE bay shot.

 

i just got another valvecover done and put on. i'll get pics when i can. it's rasta colors...similar to my last valvecover...

 

ahh dude thats gonna look sick haha. Im gonna get rasta lugnuts once I get my rims, I cant wait. Ive got a picture of this 350 with these like pastel lug nuts, all a different color. Thought it looked interesting so Im gonna do rasta since Im only 4 lug, Ill have a black lug.

 

hey guys i need some insite here...im going to paint my wheels this week.. and im torn between 3 colors...white, gunmetal and bronze....if anybody has any other suggestions let me know...here is my car

thanks...but im just tired of the black...its just flat...simple...i want something that will stand out...White will do that... or gunmetal or bronze...but man idk

i cant believe no one voted for bronze...in the earlier pages of this thread, check out krazyteg's car when he had the konig helium's (i think that's what they were) in bronze...they look awesome on his car...or nelson999's car with the bronze volks...

If your keeping those rims... Id say white. Whites my favorite color on teal tegs. I saw how gold would look and it looks AMAZING, but I dont know about on those rims.

Bronze is really nice too, but I like flashy. On a teal teg, white or a chromed gold are the only combos Id put on my car. I really want orange rims, but that would look bad on teal. Again, I say go white with those rims. If you took the rims how they are, and added a chrome lip, it would look like all the nice clean off the showroom floor cars in my valley, but youll be able to see those flat black spokes a lot more. Or if you colored your caliper, that would bring the flat black out a lot more as well. I used to see this white teg whenever I went to the local walmart, the dude worked there. He had flat black rota slips, driving into the lot day or night it would always look like he had steelies on until you got up close. I didnt like that with flat black rims...

i have decided that White is out of the question now...long story...i work at a hotrod shop and driving a honda is one thing but after i told them white wheels they flamed even more!! hahaha and now that i think about it white wouldnt be goot for me because of the brakes and brake pads i use...hawk HP+ create a **** load of dust...and washing them everyday is out of the question...


So i have talked to the painter here at work and i have a quart of BG33P that we are going to use...and we are going to tweak the color...a dark green+bronze of somesort...either way im not going to be happy untill it is something that i like...white on these wheels may not be the best color... its hard to explain the color...but as soon as they are done ill post pics for sure!!!

no prob...

personally...i liked your 'teg before you slammed the hell out of it. just my opinion...i'd rather my car didn't ride as low as it does...i'd love to have a front lip without the worry of rippin' it off of draggin' the header on the ground.

btw, i bought me a 1/4" piece of steel to make a skid plate for my header. i'll post pics as soon as it done. i'm hoping it works...besides, it's only costing me $15 instead of $50 for a chinsy skid plate from passwordjdm...

I'd say go gunmetal or just keep it black.. maybe throw some clearcoat on there to spice the black ones up.

just put on my NRG slim hub and quick release, with a momo tuner wheel. i like it.
