well i got my wheels painted!!! they are nothing that i was plaining but let me tell you that they came out sicker than i would have thought...here are some pics from the NW H-T meet....pictures dont do justice...youd have to see them in person to understand what the color is...lets juts say i started out with black base coat...added course gold pearl, silver pearl and some red...ended up with what is on the wheels now....i really like the color...check out my sig and youll see what a friend of mine posted...you can kind of see in the pics how the color changes.

ding ding ding ding, my thoughts exatcly. I'd love for my integra to be super duper parking lot pimpin clean status. But it's not, and don't plan to focus money on the cosmetic appeal any time soon. Right now I'm trying to get my motor strong, suspension and brakes tight for autox & lapping events.

Erik, are you going to be attending wmhm? If so, I'll see you there. Look for the rusty ***, dented out, black front bumper PBG teg.

awesome well long story short, I am getting no spark and here is what I have done / replaced in this order more or less ...

*Tune-up ... cap, rotor, plugs (knowing it probably wouldn't do anything anyway but it needed it anyway)
* Purchased Ignition Coil and installed ... still no spark.
* Purchased Igniter from Acura and installed ... still no spark.
* Tried jumping it out of curiousity ... didn't think it would work but worth a try.
* Swapped out entire known good distributor from obd2 b16 ... still no spark.
* Swapped out known good plug wires from same ... still no spark.

I'm thinking ecu but I was given a trouble code 6 or 16 from the cel. One solid followed by 6 short blinks.

6 = ECT Water Temp Sensor
16 = Fuel Injectors

Neither of those make sense to me since I'm getting no spark in the first place. I am sparkless ... without spark.

how'd you figure that out?

 

eh, long story short, rotor / cams aren't moving but it tries to crank (vids in other post) ... so now I'm trying to find a shop or find someone that can replace it, do a leak down test / compression test or maybe pull the head to make sure it isn't damaged. It died at idle though so I'm hoping all internals are ok.
