Last time I checked chassis reinforcements were legal for H1, Which is the only class my chassis would ever be legal for anyway. I already had to spend quite a bit extra for the DOM tubing to fit the regulations. HREW tube is about 1/3 of the price.

Also I don't want anything near as crazy as that guy. Just the A pillars, and main hoop reinforced. That guy probably added a lot of extra ballast with all that steel work.

You're only real option for getting away from base is El Paso and there's not much to do there but eat. I was Marines and had the choice between Lejeune (NC) and 29 Stumps (Mojave, CA) and chose Lejeune for obvious reasons. But if given an option between the Stumps and Bliss? Yeah, I'd be in Cali with a quickness.
Good luck man, get yourself a quad or dirtbike and go have fun in the desert is probably the best advice I can give to fill your downtime

Just to avoid any future confusion. I looked up the rules for NASA just now. Here is a snippet:
All cars shall have a NASA CCR-compliant roll cage. Additionally,
a) Any number of additional mounting points may be used.
b) Any number of additional tubes may be used, even for chassis stiffening.
c) Any size mounting plate may be used, subject to material and minimum specifications in the NASA
CCR.
d) Two (2) forward cage braces per side (total of four (4)) may pass through the firewall and connect at no
more than two (2) mounting points in the engine compartment (i.e. strut tower or frame).
e) Tubes may be welded at any contact point. Additional material may be used to connect roll cage tubing
to chassis of car. I.E. A pillar bar may have material welded to both itself and the A pillar of the car.
Additional spot welding and/or welding seams on the chassis is permitted.
f) If any part or combination of modification number 4.9.e above is utilized, an additional thirty (30) pound
weight penalty will apply.
g) All tubes that are added shall be inspected for safety reasons. Any tube deemed to be hazardous to the
driver must be removed.

That is without a doubt my favorite year Accord. I really always dug the wagons too, maybe the 90-93 wagons a bit better.
Well I struck a deal on the Insight. Dropping off a deposit tomorrow, and then picking it up at the end of the month once I'll have all the cash in hand by then. It kinda makes me want to rethink painting my KR-X white. Only because then all my vehicles would be red. The funny thing is, I don't even like red. So I guess I'll stick with my NH0 plans.

CRXbart out of left fields, I havent seen you this inspired since n10.
I highly dislike winter in Chicago. Nothing happening all winter except a documented rebuild of my new road race crx.
I hope to do it all in a couple weeks. Just bought Advance Design double adjustable shocks! Lol

i have -6 push lock lines under by hatch run along the unibody rail, held with self taper screws and cushion clamps... i wouldnt advise if your car is slammed, but otherwise ive had to issues
i dont, but the -6 slips right over the factory ends on the top of the fuel pump, just slip em over a couple inches and use two hose clamps just to be on the safe side... even run my race lab fuel filter under the car too with no clearance issue
So you just slipped the -6 lines over the stock tubes....
I was wondering if that would be "enough" for 600whp on e98.
I was thinking about putting some -6an NTP fittings onto the cover but then I've yet to measure the I.D. of the metal tubes... if there's not a big difference I may just do what you did too.
How much power are you making? what fuel & injector size?
