The Official EF Discussion Thread
My problem is that I've lost track of what I've sold and what I still have. One day soon when the weather is decent, I'm going to clean out the attic and re-photograph the parts I have. There's stuff from two different hatches and a wagon up there.
i used to work for ups in undergrad, fck them, they are slow nad overpriced, i do online shipping from usps, its even cheaper and no lines.
Clearly you haven't seen that recent video of a fedex guy throwing a package over a fence, I forgot the explanation of the video but the guy was tired of the people and threw the package over the fence.
yes I've seen it, we just try our best not to abuse packages in public... all smiles there, what that dude did was more honorable at least, **** your tv up right in front of your house ftw
My hats off to you, luckliy i dont (and prob wont ever) have a family so i can make these choices. I did 2am-8am loading trucks before school for 8 bucks and hour, you think im angry now, you have no idea lol.
that sucks, I've at least been there long enough to be making top rate, if i was at $8 still i would go work at McDonalds, i too work the preload, and am an air driver
at least you get to peruse your dream, I've all but given up on mine, being as far fetched as it was I've been in several bands that have came stupid close to being signed, and always done really well in my area and surrounding states, but traveling to shows is somewhat out of the question with a baby. perhaps when she is older i can try again, at least I will have plenty of material written by then
The other advantage to FedEx is that they can get your package to almost anywhere in the lower 48 in 3 days or less at the standard price.
Blu, do you go through the UPS Stores? Maybe it's different regionally, but they are astronomical here. My uncle has driven for UPS for 25-30 years and he tells me to use FedEx. LOL.

The UPS store isn't owned by UPS they are a private shipper allowed to use the name due to there sole contract with UPS but I'm fairly sure that their rates are still set by UPS corporate and should be the same everywhere
EF-Honda turns all my parts for me.. actually FB sells more than anything lately for me. I always use UPS because i ship through work and get the discount.

Speaking of parts, I have them piling up
I need to start a FS thread and post this stuff in the EF parts thread.
Dreading doing this myself... coming up with prices is the worst part. I usually scan over ebay and CL before setting a price.. any other ideas?
I started using those "flat-rate" boxes.. seem to be the best bang for the buck.
what's weird is i sold a set of sparkplug wires and was shipping it a few counties over and it was $12.xx, but only $20.xx to ship 2 wheels
that's what i do and post on every forum i'm a member on. but i generally sell stuff when it becomes apparent that i'm not going to use it. i used to hold onto stuff, but not anymore
