Use a old Sony Cybershot for most pictures, like as im putting parts together and random BS. But recently picked up a Canon Rebel with a short range filter and long range filter.. comes in handy at car shows or some crystal clear pictures of whatever other nonsense. The truth behind it is, dont purchase something that you dont know how to use, you could go buy a 5,000$ camera and the guy with the 50$ throw away may still get better pictures! Its the knowledge of the operator over the camera itself.
Like all electronics... whatever you buy will be outdated within a year anyway!

yeah I know. I'm doing it more for looks I still have an extra set Mugen rims that I'm keeping but I really like how these look even though they are knock offs and probably poorly made, but they are cheap

I saw a picture of a car @ IA with these, and starting digging them.
Plus i just checked my credit score for the first time and its around the 330 mark and I'm pretty sure it because of my student loan. I need to sell some un-needed crap and fix it as fast as possible.

very true

Its pretty much all about settings. If you know how to set up the camera speed, lighting and all that other stuff that I forgot the name for you can make a perfect picture. Plus Editiing programs like photoshop can make any picture look profes.

Ive been back and forth so many times with removing my heat and ditching the whole climate control nonsense... I would never take my car out in rain, snow etc. anyway. I dont know why I cant make up my mind! I ned EF owner advice.. reminder, this is not a daily! I need a list of pro's and con's!

PRO's- more space under the dash for fuse box, ecu etc..
- thinking of routing my harness through the existing hole sence I cant afford to send mine back to Chase for Milspec status.
-weight
- no more broken climate controls!

CON's- ???? I think vents in a car without heat or AC looks kinda funny! (not really a con, just personal)

can i just route the hoses back into each other off the motor instead of through the heater core? or is something else necessary?

Meh, just block em. The heat is manageable, but the cold will kinda suck. Just wear gloves and a beanie and you're good. Haha. I weighed all my heater stuff (every last bolt) and it came out to 23.5lbs. Also, you don't even need to loop the coolant hoses. YOu simply block 'em off. One on the block and the other on the coolant "tube" on the back of the block.

use a head cam plug to remove the heat nipple on the head. look in teh tucked thread page one for part #. I run a carbon fiber plug where the climate control was. It doesnt bother me the least bit.

I also run my harness through the heater plug

I think i want ryan to add a milspec plug next, cause im never happy lol

Also shot with a sony 5.1 cybershot. Im an mad scientist, not a photographer.

I dont think your gonna beable to pull that offset off without rolling fenders on an ef, those og's i had were 15x7 +35 and they were rubbing in the back with -2 degrees camber. I ended up cambering to -4 or so, but I guess if you got a good stretched tire you may be good. I would just go ahead and roll them. We rolled mine 2 weeks after we painted it and no cracked paint.

Wow Chemist, Nice work there. you never had any type of build thread did you?
Pretty sold on ditching the heating system.
Were you able to fit all the harness plugs through the hole after removing the core and grommet without depinning anything?
Im assuming you had to cut the grommet to get the harness through it, unless you had it put on when the harness was made? I like the idea of running the charge harness through the top also.

James its gonna take a lot more than some quick payoffs to get a credit score in the 300's up to a 700. I would just keep what you got and do your best to pay the bills.

Nowadays you can get a pretty damn nice P&S camera for $250. Mine was about that much several years ago and its just a 4.1MP...Luckily it has a manual mode with decent setting options.
