lucky, i shoulda asked him since i let him borrow my tools to work on his car but didnt want to sound rude. i thought it was kinda funny that i did end up using my tools after all to fix 2 peoples cars.

Im not going to run pin on my carbon hood Just make sure that latch is tight. Why not install a safety cable, Like a 6-8 cable that u latch on an eye hook so if it happes to come up, hte cables grab it before it does some damage?

I think there is something going on. Either people are forgetting to close thier hoods all the way or there is a serious defect in the latches.
Mine flew up when I forgot to close my hood all the way. After I installed my other front end, I put spacers on the T-bar so it sticks out a little. My hood hasn;t come unlatched ever since, but i'm still going to get hood pins.

I know for sure that most EFs have a defect. Nearly every one I've been around you have to push down on the hood while you pull the hood latch release to get it to open.

yeah...funny thing is the person that walked up to him he actually asked where he was and wanted to see him...but he didn't look like he wanted to see him anymore when he walked up to him
