but your seat is on a civic hatch right? im in a crx si, so even less head clearance with the sunroof headliner. i smacked my head even with my old si seat. how much lower did the vision rails drop you? im thinking my only option is going to be to buy a fixed seat, like memory fab, recaro, or another brand (i keep hearing that sparco fades super quick) since those do drop the seat a bit. if i sit up correctly, my head rubs the headliner slightly as my car is currently.

oh ****....... thats sucks to hear. damn... if i was dropping in the jrsc, i would definitely have it tuned instead of relying on fmu hacks, etc.

i dont know, i wonder how good a barbados yellow crx would look like compared against a midori green crx (green is my favorite color) with enkei rpf1s or even the mini cooper rims i have on my car currently. i just got my old job back, and my physical is friday. that means cash flow once again while going to school. after paying off a couple bills, im gonna look for a clean 89 hatch si, or hatch with si conversion and put my crx in storage and daily the hatch. i dont want the rust on the winshield area to worsen.

on another note. have any of you done a resto on a crx or hatch (other then jdm parts, swaps, etc). what did it come up to? im looking to stay usdm, but with suspension refreshment, paint, new wheels, rebuilt motor and tranny (prolly add LSD). i will be prolly doing most of the work myself, including paint since it will be either barbados yellow or midori green.

I'll take pictures..when I say low I mean LOW, like the ying yang twins Get Low. If your going to go Recaro might as well go with top of the line jdm hotness.
First guy to have it in a pre-91 year car and now I'm passing the torch

side note: I had rust on my windshield too near the seals...really bad I mean cracking the metal kinda stuff but I had it fixed b4 paint and it works out fine. Costed me an extra $150 but glad they saw it in the process or I would have been screwed. I should have takin pictures of it.
I would go with the green though. don't see much of it in the CR-X form

...who knows, maybe he would have been the one to help YOU with a something, or returned a favor because he knew he "owed" you one...sometimes we carry TOO much pride and can't see things for what it truely is.

turning numerous people against one person that don't even know the "entire" story.

RANT! LOL</TD></TR></TABLE>

you are right..... nobody knows the entire story.

this kid brought a broken AND incomplete charger to my house asking to install it.

he begged for months to help him, he begged for a few more days after he brought it up... so i agreed to "get it running". that is what he said the entire time..... get it running. get it running. is it drivable. etc.

this kid had me drive him all over southern california to buy parts that werent needed for his SC install.

this kid used my tools and garage to install those parts while i sat and waited for my own wrenches to finish his POS.

finally, after 6 days of me shopping, fabbing, wrenching he calls me and tells me hes coming to get the car. i told him it was my GF's birthday and i was leaving in 20 minutes for her dinner with her family. he got all pissy with me. telling me that i told him it would only take 2-3 days, etc. which i did tell him that, IF his charger was complete..... IT WASNT and was actually broken. i spent $70-80 of my own cash to get it running/limping home to his house. not to mention time, and parts that were mine in my garage.

i told him i was leaving and that if he was coming up... to bring a tow truck and i would leave it in the driveway. kid didnt get it. it wasnt finished, and i had plans for that night. but no, he cried and whined and i stayed home to finish it.... leaving my GF and her family to celebrate her Bday without me. i stayed up until 3am fixing that thing, only to find that three of the problems we had when we were done, were his installation errors.... NOT MINE.

not only all of that, but i gave him a bunch of brand new in the bag or box OEM honda parts and JRSC parts. BRAND NEW! i didnt ask for anything back, except for a $20 creeper to help me do his install a little easier as my back still hurt from my car accident. even after he went home for that weekend, i wrenched on it every day after work until at least 1am every night. i went to jackson, honda, and home depot countless times and spent about $80 on hardware alone.

i asked him FLAT OUT about my cash, and he acted like i didnt exist. when he called me while i was in SD, i asked him about the loot... and my brother, who was in the car with me, yelled out, "we're just gonna come over and get it mothercucker!" which was probably the wrong thing to do in the situation. two days later, Ash gave his brother my number, and i told him the same thing..... it took about 2 friggan weeks before i got him to paypal the cash, and he still left me with the paypal fees. i even asked him about that, he knew he was in the wrong.

not only that, but he snaked a few parts out of my garage too...... little things he thought i wouldnt notice, but now that i am wrenching on my CRX again, i know he took them. shady if you ask me.

one of the reasons i think he doesnt post on H-T anymore.

end of my RANT.

you sold it???? damn. super nice car. i love the color, charcoal is sweet. was that an autopower or cusco cage? im sorry to hear that you were a victim of that joe, but unfortunately in this world, that is something we will all experience. friends and family will turn their back on you. so any answers to my questions about resto costs guys?

EDIT: whoa, i just noticed you had a clear sunroof. was that lexan, glass? functional or just a plug?

autopower 6 point bolt-in race cage.

sunroof was aftermarket. was in the car when I originally bought it in 2002. It was just a pop-up glass panel.

I've seen them on a lot of DX model crx's.

picking up the new head and block this weekend. a few OEM parts to get Adam's old GSR swap ready for my car. and paying off the remaining balance of the lightened B18c5 crank too.

that's it. but i might be rocking the stockish GSR swap for the EF meet. probably wont have the JRSC installed by then, as i want to ref the car for a GSR.

nah. those door panels are probably gonna be one of the only "JDM" parts on my car.
They came with the shell, and its hard enough to find door panels for 88's anyways, so I figured I can let my track car have power windows

Haha. they could be blown for all I know. I've never driven this car. I bought it, trailered it home, and parked it. Now, I'm concentrating on graduating from college in June, so I have very little time to actually work on it.

suspension and stuff is still up in the air...

If you don't have the wiring and window arms go to autosonic. He does install and has the rails. Takes him hella long to get done but good peoples. I asked cuz you had the main switches on the passenger side.
I didn't want my girl to have control over mine and her window because she complains about being cold, so i reversed them FTU (for the upset)

Thanks, but the regulators and wiring is all there, already

I may just run two master switches, because I can't stand that huge gap in the right-side panel when you swap the master to the USDM driver's side.

If it comes down to it, I may just set up that other switch on the passenger side as a power door lock switch, so I dont have to worry about them rolling my window up/down.

HUGE gap FTF!!

I lost the extra piece of door panel from the driver side that I was going to super glue on the passenger side to get rid of it but oh well. I can stash candy in the door jams

maybe you should contact seti20 from europe and see if he can find you an EDM LHD power window switch. hey joe, did i read what you posted in your project thread right, that you might trade in the ridgeline for a 4door si? i personally like the 4 door body lines as compared to the coupe. all fwd drive cars should come with lsd. new si&gt;rsx type s
