im tall and skinny, i should fit fine in either. i kinda like f1spec's more cause of the kidney pads. it will be the FRP version for f1spec that i do get and not carbon fiber.

EDIT: if there was a Recaro that was oem and bolted right into an EF [(i know dc2 but i dont want any gimped up *** 2/3 of the 4 bolts, and I know how to fab brackets) I just want OEM goodness] id prolly already have a set

 

yes recaros are nice, but its going in a daily driver, getting abused, and i also live in the #2 highest car theft metro area in the US and no im not going to move, i just moved back to finish school and i just got a cool job working for sutter health.

EDIT: anyone with any experience with them? i dont want to hear rumors, i want actual first person mode experience.

My recaros was on the oem rails, that is close to oem as possibly.

no its more like i'd rather not buy something big (expensive) that may get stolen. i already had my crx broken into here (when i lived in a new community in a nice, newer part of town). second, i cant take hitting my head on the sunroof much longer. im getting so fed up of it, i have thought about just selling the crx just to get something with more headroom, prolly an ef hatch or ae86 (no dorifto jokes please, im more into the fact that it holds 4 people, rwd, looks cool, functional hatchback, 4 cylinder, and handles well then all the drifting BS). i'm getting an aircooled bug to have fun with that will be built up somewhat for HPDEs. second, i have lots of things i need to fix soon on my car before it breaks down on me and then i am forced to spend more then i wanted to get keep it daily driveable.

EDIT: hella nice lime green recaro spg. it would look awesome in a midori green EF hatch or crx.

unfortunately now, criminals have more rights then citizens. i would love to set their cars on fire so they could feel my pain, but our worthless government doesnt punish criminals. we need some forms of punishment that are present in 3rd world countries. our country raises criminals and then tells them that its okay and that it is not their fault that they steal. lack of accountability runs amock in this country.

Sucks for you. But I hear ya, I been lucky I had my crx parked outside for 5 years and never been messed with.

me and my gf have talked about moving to texas. and getting weapons (sniper rifle for me of course) so that we can live in a less car theft happy place. okay, i mean that you can defend yourself if someone trespasses on your property. alarms, killswitches, clubs, autolocs only do so much. i live in a cool gated community. i've had a white crx dx check my car out after a few months. if my car is broken into, im going after them first. i guess i have kinda lost my patience. i've had 1 car stolen, 3 broken into.
