The Official EF Discussion Thread
alright so when i see water drip in my interior it's sometimes coming out of the hole in the plastic where the hatch strut is attached to the body. u can see where it pools up and drips thru, so the sunroof may not be the culprit?
i've seen all 4 tubes drain but maybe they get overloaded?

i just got fed up with the conectors corroding and stupid little **** that nissan didn't plan for accordingly for a north american vehicle.
i loved the driving feeling of my b13's but i couldn't stand constatntly taking the dash aprt for misc. light bulbs nor could i stand constantly replacing random individual wires in the engine harness for opens in the circuit.
honda harnesses>nissan harnesses as far as weatherproofing them goes.

Its not your sunroof. Look at the drip guards on your roof, the things that run from your windshield to your rear hatch. If you look where the drip guard ends at your hatch, you will see putty that Honda used to seal up the welds. If you look closely you will see that the putty is cracked. That is where the water is getting in. I just scraped all the old stuff off and reapplied some new sealant. Problem fixed

under your raintray is a "fresh air vent" will at the bottom of the tray is a tube that is supposed to drain the water so the vent only takes in air. well if this tube comes disconnected it will jsut drain into your car rigth where you jut described.
take off your dash. reconnect the tube and throw a lil silicone on it for peace of mind.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I got the dash out and there is water in the fresh air vent. Where is this tude you speak of? I didn't see it.

I have the same leak to. My drivers side floor board fills up. I need to pull the dash when i get a moment to do so. I liked your hatch madman. Not a fan of the pole thing . Hate to hear you had troubles with your b13. I loved mine like a family member. Dont get me wrong i like the hatch alot to. I like the way it sits and love the squatty rear view.

just pull the rails on both seats (keep the EF **** in one pile)
pull the DC rails and pull the hog rings off both seats
take the DC pan out and put the EF pan back in and reinstall hog rings and EF rails

yea. i think that jsut went over a lot of peoples heads. hahaha. i did that to a set of del sol seats because i went thru this phae where apparently i wanted to sit on the floorboard of the car, but yea ill never do it again.
my current phase is wanting those seats that use tempur-pedic padding as well as saving for a RHD.
jamus macvega, do you think you could identify a jdm optional hood emblem?

if you look closely, you can see another beast in the background too. chassis harness hanging out where the blower motor used to be.

i remeber when i had dial up. bad bad days. my dad was saying to swap the pans but i didnt think that the padding would match. the reason i want the leather is because i have a set of seat warmers lying around
