Sorry for the random ebay post, but i cant believe this guy is "sure" they are "real"...

i like the darko pchop lol </TD></TR></TABLE>

WHAT THE **** ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??
the auction very plainly says OEM HONDA OPTIONAL
It also says the word RARE so I have come to the conclusion that this is a RARE OEM HONDA OPTIONAL SPARCO EVO REAR seat. I can only come up with this conclusion because this guy is a very reputable seller and lives in JAPAN. And I'm sure he took this right out of a EF9 that had the same RARE HONDA OPTIONAL SPARCO front seats. Everyone knows SPARCO makes optional access equipment for HONDA duh'ry

I' going to BUY IT NOW ON THOSE THINGS cuz it says RARE on it end of story

I put the cage in since its going with the car, and I didn't wanna hand the new owner a bunch of pieces to a puzzle.

I didn't normally drive it like this. Plus, the A pillar is just as hard as the cage when it comes to metal vs. your melon. Your head is gonna hit one or the other in an accident anyways.

considering it's a daily driven crx rock'n a full cage seems pretty wise to me...the car is lower then the guys on road bikes and wieghs a fraction of damn near every other car/truck/suv on the road...who wants to be crushed inside a soda can? not me! and if there was an accident the bars are not that much harder then hitting the unbody, roof, etc...it could have been pad'ed but either way your going to have a lump on your dome...go to the local junk yards and look at the rex's that have been t-bones, rolled, rear ended and so on...

Dont hate, I have the same one. The Autopower cage leaves you with plenty of room

ya i figured u just threw it in there for that reason....and as for the cage being just as hard as the a-pillar, i agree but the par is now mounted closer to your noggin than the a pillar was and the vehicle is designed to fail in a specific way w/o a roll cage

the other thing is w/o harnesses the stock 3-pt belt has a inertia reel that gives your body a specific range of movement w/o running into things...with a full cage you might run into the bars in even a low speed accident because of the range of movement the stock belts allow

Hey Stephan. . .I totally agree with you on this one. But from what I've found, if they really want one, you'll never convince someone how unsafe it is to roll around with a full cage in a street car without a helmet. This is an arguement you're not going to win man. Just let the idiots kill themselves off.
