I'm driving and I switch from 2nd to 3rd and all of a sudden the pedal sinks. I thought the clutch cable might have snapped but I switched it with another one and it has the same problem. I'm convinced its something in the clutch pedal. The pedals still there so I know it's not broken but it feels like theres no pressure. Even with the cable tightened. Anyone have ANY input. I gotta go to school tomorrow and I need help.

quoting this again so it gets over to the next page for ya. that sucks, staying up all night messing with a car so you can go to school in the morning, tired as hell, with grease under your finger nails.

seriously man take it to a mech. and ask them. they will give you a list of **** they say they are going to fix (when really it would probably on be one)
cross out the things you have already fixed and know for sure its not and do the things they say that you have not considered

the old hatch was linerless due to a high speed run in with air pressure ripping them out
crx are in though, staying too @ all cost. it's simple just dont fool with things unless they're broken and you'll be fine

I got back and noticed nothing
The clutch pedal moves back and forth fine. The welds look fine. The spring looks fine. The only thing I noticed was something on the back of the pedal sticking out, however it wasn't rough (broken weld). I guess I just have to look for pictures online. Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it to school, however; I HAVE to find a clutch pedal assembly and install it tomorrow in order to use my car for the rest of the week

Nick, maye your pressure plate broke? Your sure its the pedal and not the clutch itself? You best bet is pull the tranny and see whats inside.

I know its not the tranny because when it died on the highway I put it in first with the car off, turned it on, as it bucked I gave it a bit of gas and it started and drove fine. Of course I couldn't change gears so I brought it home in First

it has to be the clutch or pp, i would yank the tranny and see whats up. if the clutch cable works fine, the only thing left is the clutch itself. I bet the pp took a ****.
