it makes perfect sense. its paid for and it runs. it was way LESS than what i still wanted to put into the CRX. (15,000+ left to spend on the rex)

dropping a G this pay period, 2 Gs the next, and 600 here, 500 there.... **** was pissing me off and i was getting nowhere.

all i need/want at this point of my life is a fun weekend car. not the crazy [freak]in' beast that the rex was gonna be. i would have never been able to drive it unless its on a race track. and i dont see myself doing that as much as i intended. i wanna stay at home sometimes and kick it with my daughter. this car is paid off in full and all i want/need is a slight drop and some wheels. it'll do the job just fine.

Well nothing is finalized yet, and yes I know some will be pissed, but it works for me right now if it goes through. So we'll see, worse comes to worse, the CRX will just stay stock.

to tell you the truth, i have so much money left over that i can too! and im not dumping cash into this car every 2 weeks like i was with the rex. its running already.
so next payday, i'll have loot to spend on the baby instead of rushing around spending like a madman on the rex. and the s2k is paid off in full, no payment.

also sold my rex to pay off an s2000 in full but im going to wait until winter rolls through. mean while ill save up for mods.

Of course what makes sense to you won't make sense to others. Am I sad you never finished your car...of course. But did you enjoy it with the D and blower? Hell yes.

Going from a 2 seater to a 2 seater is the only part that doesn't make sense, but the financial side of it all TOTALLY does.

well im a tad bit upset. we had a glorious day here on the east coast so i went out to drive my CRX around. i went all the way up to this state park i've been meaning to check out and i had my camera with me. this is the view i found:


needless to say, i was pretty excited about the pictures i was about to take. however, as soon as i got my car down there and turned my camera on, the batteries went dead. The good news is that i have all the time in the world to get back up there again and make it happen with a nicer camera.

but for now, all i have is some random shots i took before the batteries died including the new "crash panel" and cargo cover. that thing makes the interior a lot quieter:

 

yea the rear interior really makes thing a lot quieter. I stripped mine out a couple years ago and I wont do it again. Saving 35 ish pounds is just not worth it. I put it back in after about a month of noisiness.

 

i doubt it even weighs 25 lbs.

plus it looks so much cleaner with it in.

 

Anyone know where I can get a new cigarette lighter for my center console? I have the 91 version that has the light in it, but it fell into the hole and wont stay in place anymore. I tried my local honda, but they couldnt even click on the number for it. Any ideas? Joe, there are two in the pictures for it on the parts catalog. Do you know which one it is?

Also, anyone got a climate control in good shape? I dont want to do that damn face plate to fix mine that just started breaking this summer. Now its got cracks on each side of the dial so its separating. Damn thing should not be expensive as they are!

nope its a obd2 zc out of a jdm integra 1.6ti (google)
it has about 40K on it and with the p06 it gets about 41 mpg

 

what are you gonna do where the glove box belongs? leave it the way it is?
