ok everyone now for my two cents i have a 91 civic hatch and i bought the password lip that was suposed to fit with light modding but when i got it there was now way in hell it was going to fit. I have seen pics of it on a usdm hatch but it isnt that good of a pic. If anyone else wants to chim in please do.
right now i have the vw lip on but i really want the password lip or chargespeed or even j's racing anyone on here know what jdm style lip will fit on my usdm 91 civic hatch with light moding?

no JDM lip will fit perfectly on a 90-91 front bumper. The only other option is getting a 88-89 front bumper and getting the Chargespeed EF3 lip if your lookin for the real thing..
but the VW lip is anohter great option for a BIG lip on the USDM front

no JDM lip will fit perfectly on a 90-91 front bumper. The only other option is getting a 88-89 front bumper and getting the Chargespeed EF3 lip if your lookin for the real thing..

this whole lip thing is kinda boggling my mind. the jdm **** will work on the 88 front becuase the 88 us and jap fronts are the same. ok, blah, i have a 91 us front. im just gonna search this thread for it, then pm the owner.

chargespeed as well as some other companies (search) make lips for the EF3 front end (not ZC that is the motor in the car) which is the same as the 88-89 front over here

EF9 jdm front (minus fenders) with Chargespeed lip

yes. all 4 in moderate shape from being on a slammed car. id call em 7/10. like i said, way way too much EF ****. i even have a canadian cluster in francois. check engine light says "engine motuer" id swap that in a heart beat for a ex eg cluster and a 91 cluster bezel.
come to think of it, i have two full 88 conversions if you haev a 91 rex. front and rear bumpers, and 88 tails. and about 1.5 sets of the side trim to go with em. 3 88 si clusters. im buried in 88 ****, and all i want is 90-91 USDM.
chances are if its usdm, i have it. if its jdm its gone.
if i dont have it i can get it, theres a yard out here in the middle of nowhere aka 29 palms, that has 8 EF chassis cars (6 hatches, a crx and a 4door) in relatively complete condition. he takes peanuts for the parts. there is probably 25-30 hondas total, ranging from 84-87 crxs to 04 civics. im waiting for him to get anything with a k, which ill g et for probably 600 bucks complete. he just doesnt care. ls complete swaps with trannies for 150 bucks.

sel that vw lip on vwvortex as a "euro-spec front lip for 100 bucks shipped" anyoen with a mk3 gti of jetta will pay. use money to get something more...honda.
smoke every light on your car. cut a 18 inch slit in the metal strip between your hood and bumper. add strip of LEDs that scroll back and forth. make ejection seat. call it a day.

yeah the vw has to go it is cool but it isnt honda made i just wanted to see if i could make it myown but i dont have the time and the patientce to rebuild it. I just want a bolt on product.
