hey jeff.

when they redid your mr5's how did they do the lip so it would hold it's gloss. i polished mine a year ago and they are dull again...like 5000 miles of driving and they are done. did they clearcoat them? if they did how did tehy make the clear not peel due to the polished surface?

To tell you the truth, I really dont know how they worked their magic. I dropped them off at a local tuner shop I get hooked up through, I had my guy there take it to his rim place. I got them back looking like they mile free and right out of the box.

I havent slapped any tires on them since Ive got them back, so no issue on them dulling out. I dont think they clear coated the lips either.

****. well, a dude i used to go to school with works at a powdercoating place here in town. he was telling me that they have this **** that is clear that has the same resiliency to regular powder coating. i'm gonna send a shitty oe alloy with him to work one day and have him feed it through to see what it turns out like. if it's good i think i will go that route. just don't want my mugens to be the guinea pig.

not springs, but the H&R ultra-low full coilovers go very low...So low it will make the car undrivable.....

I dont know about that,,,,Koni yellows with sprint extremes? thats pretty unmatched...those springs suck for handling.. also so you know,,The back end is pretty unstable with them...They do ride smooth though,,so if all you want is looks go for it
