I miss this car, too bad he decided to go EG. I liked it better flat black too. Although the white looks good, the flat black was gangster.

That being said I am not really a big drag race fan, but I am a K20 CRX Fan.

Ah yes, Scotty is a cool cat. I remember his vid on the TWM site, it was sick, I would post it but I'm trying to keep it K related for Hatchmo. I should have taken him for a ride when his buddy bought my old wheels. He would be in a correctional facility by now for armed robbery.

Yeah it took me under a week to come up with the capitol to buy Chris's motor after I rode in it. Two trips to Canada two weeks in a row. Total claimed at customs coming across the border=$0. I was already set on a K though. The most impressive part was as soon as I got home with the motor, I had it installed in under 1hr for the test fit.

i know i know.... i really want to keep the k20a all motor.

i sort of want to sell the k20a and just buy a type S and supercharger. (i should have done that in the first place. it would have been $100 cheaper. i could have bought an LSD for the price i paid for the ITBs.

im already at $10,700.00 on the swap alone.

not to mention the $$$$$$ that ive already dumped into the crx over the past few years. that's why i no longer have a build thread. too many lookie-loos asking me for updates. yeah, i spent more in one day on little things then their whole car is worth.

The MC brace is pretty trick. Anybody know if those things actually make a difference? My guess is you would need stainless lines to take advantage of it, but it looks like something that could be hand crafted

Exactly why I don't have a build thread/why I never add up how much I've spent on the EF or intend to spend in the near future haha. Because the net return for investments into the EF are always going to be shitty .

Owning an EF nowadays and putting money into one is really more a labor of love than anything else. Hell, with the money I've spent I could probably be driving a DC or EK, but it wouldn't make me happy .

That's just part of the game homie. You won't even think about the money you've spent when you actually drive the car.

My vote; stick with the K20a and ITB's.

All you guys make me sick.

*Edit* Page pwnage!!

LAME. I just noticed that's not a new thread, he bumped the one from last year.

All the people wondering about the 2008 SOCAL EF meet, I'm TOTALLY down to help organize it again. I really liked the lot we had last year for the Griffith Park meet, well minus the parking lot salsa dancers So I think we should look into reserving that spot for this next year and try to get some magazine coverage since I truly believe that it is magazine worthy. Keep in mind we normally have it in March, not May but I am down to move it to wherever the majority of people want to have it. Also, I believe they are not allowing anyone to have an open flame at Griffith Park since the fires that happened there, so carne asada is pretty much outta the question
