Yeah. When I ordered mine, they only had one side in stock, and I had to wait about 8 weeks for the other one to come on a boat from the motherland

I probably could have fabbed something up for cheaper, but I wanted a bolt-in solution and not have to worry about the quality of my welds holding me into the car.

Also, they say "not for wide seats" but I was able to just barely squeeze in my Buddy Club "L" seat and it works fine. These "L" seats are still relatively small, so I dont know about anything wider than this.</TD></TR></TABLE>

yeah i was just reading the "not for fatties" disclaimer, ehh looks like i will need to get the memfabs, or have a local shop do it.

The problem was the actual spacing of the bolt holes on the floor, and where it located the rails. The sides of the seat hits the inner edges of the rails. You'd have to have some set of rails fabbed up that sat farther out.

Gotcha. I think in a few weeks when i start my build im gonna do something to the stock chassis seat mounting area to mount the rails even lower. I could still be like an inch or 2 lower, and im on the lowest setting.

lol, I'm about 6'-1" and with the stock seats my head already making contact with the upper cage padding (I probably wouldn't even fit in my car with a helmet lol).

Any seat rail options for a caged EF with lower door bars? Seems like all of the sliders have the lever on the sides .

My temporary solution.

The seat is too high this way though. I don't have another seat, so this is the only solution. Not that I actually could drive the car, but in the future if it ever gets done....

i know i have whored these pics out enough, but since we are on the topic of aftermarket seats in EFs i will post em again...

I hacked and rewelded the stock sliders. There was plenty of metal there so i am not very concerned about the weld strength. If anything i am concerned with how the seatrails fasten to the seats ( Just some sort of anchor inlayed into the FRP but i guess that is how it is done ).

As for the height, i believe they are about 1" - 1.5" higher than delsol seats, I am 6'-0" and i am sure i look a little high relative to the car, however i almost prefer it. The driving position is great

chronic - your set up is similar to mine, only welded and nicer looking. however, i think my seat is too high. my knees are tight behind the steering wheel, but my head hight is ok. i'm 6'. maybe it's how i have the seat positioned on the rails.

I think im gonna be bolting my seats straight to the floor. im the only one thats gonna drive my ef and being 6'5 stock seats suck if i have a cage every time i turn my head i hit the cage.

Yeah you were. I can't get into my photobucket account right now, but I'll post it later. Those were pretty low for not being advertised as "low" rails!
