Hi guys;

found a decent deal on some Koni' shocks with neuspeed springs; the koni's have the height adjustable circlips;

but theye listed for DA; it will fit into the EF9 I have; but just wondering; how much different are DA suspension compared to EF?

I wish the guy b4 mine would have not messed it up and primered the thing
I would have just put the front end on and got it paint matched

It will fit in a Civic just fine
I have AGX shocks and struts with no issues
just don't try to use DA springs
get Civic specific springs.

Maybe thats why when I posted a thread asking to see other SBM EFs, I got no reply.

I'm very happy with my purchase.

fit, yes. work right, no.

da shocks are longer for the increased travel. if you put lowering springs in you will bottom out the shocks and blow them.

so DA Koni shock + DA neuspeed spring in EF wont work?

and DA Koni shock with EF spring also wont work?

the da/da combo will ride higher because the overall length of the da is spring is greater and the shock is longer. you will be sitting at stock ride height with a drop spring essentially.

the da shock with an ef spring will destroy the shock because teh spring will be too low on the body causing the effective travel of the shock to be from it's midpoint to bottomed out rather than from peak to mid. your starting point will be all wrong and you will be making a set of koni's disposable.

sell them and buy the right ****, they have a different listing for a reason.

I went to a lapping day a few weeks ago, my first time on a track. This car is so much fun. We ran until after it was dark, so I finally got to use the driving lights. Tires were a $20 set of used VictoRacers!

This was the track

Two days later I had a tractor trailer swerve in front of me on the thruway. Have you ever panic-stopped so hard that you blew out your brake booster? I did, it was scary. Other than that, the car was fine. But it was a close call
