Who cares? Just because he put a "jdm" bumper on a lhd drive car doesn't mean it should get featured. Everybody does that. Yeah, it's a really nice car, but it's not original. JDM means it came from Japan. I'm so sick of these weak trends. </TD></TR></TABLE>
obviously you have NO CLUE about who davep is or his car. His car has damn near been the same exterior wise since about 01-02? Just diffrent motors and other misc ****.

He is from Cincy. He is a JDM *****. Has a light up center garnish, and lots of other rare stuff. I don't care who's car is featured or whatever. Mags are pretty gay. It's like taking out an add to show people what they can steal from you. They are definitely west coast biased. All of the cars in the past 2 issues of Honda Tunning I saw at Eibach. Hell the Canadian had to drive to California to get his car featured. I am tired of seeing old dinosaur technology B series crap in mags, and that ridiculous Backyard Special wing on EGs. Dave P should swap a K in, then his car would be hot! B series Yawn. lol

sorry, i missed the norcal crx meet. family came up from southern california (imperial county) unannounced. it didnt help that my GF started a fight with me friday night either. killed the mood. : (
since you guys are talking about RHD, JDM, etc. i wanted to ask a serious question. our cars are near being 25 years old. 25 years old makes cars classic in california i believe. that is also the limit for the rules that apply for crash standards if remember correctly. one of the problems with importing a RHD crx from japan is that it can not be made street legal (main issue being no crash testing has been done in states to check how it will do in a crash). smog requirements can be easily taken care of by making car smog exempt ("CNG conversion"). another issue is that it is RHD and insurance may give you problems with that. what about importing a european LHD model from europe and using that? i am really interested in this but dont know if its possible. i would like a glasstop crx with jdm/edm front end, and b16 and maybe rear seat. i would feel better buying a car that these came in originally rather then piecemealing together a car (especially with overpriced, overhyped jdm prices). what is your input?

andy-davep's hatch is special. i would rate it in higher regard than eggman's any day of the week. a jdm bumper on a rhd car shouldn't be featured in my opinion. but when someone has the time and effort that dave has into that hatch-hell yes it should.</TD></TR></TABLE>
DavePs hatch is an awesome restoration. JDM parts or not, it's sick.

What's your obsession with the "WEST COAST?" It's extremely over crowded with ridiculous real estate that gets destroyed by earth quakes. Ohhhh yeah, but I forgot the weather is nice most of the year.

haha this is wat ive been talking about for years- ask ryan...i call honda-tuning the honda-tech a/c forum magazine. It has less intellectual value than the rags i wipe my *** with...i never understood how they could publish a magazine about the last 20 years of one car company. Dont get me wrong but honda-tuning is just as bad a magazines like super-street and import tuner. Now go read sport compact car and learn about something other than what bodykit is the jdm flavor of the month. The honda show scene is so gay...the same cars with a bunch of "rare" parts at every meet with there "crews" and norcal vs socal east coast vs west coast etc. blah i just had to rant

Yes Ive noticed that SCC has so much more to offer as far as tech articles go and if you actually take the time to read them you might learn a thing or 2. Honda Tuning is cool if all u want to do is look at pictures.
