The OFFICIAL DC Squad --Version 3--
Don't do it! Just stick with the 98+ Front end and get your ITR lip already lol.
Yup, it's dry docked right now and I think it's going through inspections or something, but I'll be there around April. I'm already going through Craigslist in Seattle-Tacoma area and I cant believe theres so much PY ITRs for sale lol who knows I might pick one up

Suggestions for a new intake for my 94 integra LS?
I don't want to spend more than 150$.
Found a DCSports short ram for 100$... That's the top of the list so far... Second is Injen.
Probably going to stick with a short ram, I dont care to mess with a cold air in cali daily.

With rotas, I would say when it comes to daily driving there isn't a huge problem... except they aren't the best wheel for, well, CRASHING.
Volk, I believe, made a video testing what another user noticed to be rotas against their own wheel. The rota cracked and broke while their wheel bent but stayed together on impact.
If you're worried like I was when buying a cheaper wheel, see if they claim to be a member of SEMA and you can verify that by checking out SEMA's board.
The Konig Megarace are all +45. I believe that to be the same with the Mugen NRs..

Wooooow.
Save some family the devastation and take the bus to work dude.
If you smash a pot hole with rotas you might shatter your sick looking rims and hit another car. Better wheels will hold up and you probably wont lose control.
I'm not SO CONCERNED. If I was I wouldn't mod my car. But safety should be kept in mind. No one plans to crash but they crash test cars for a reason.
Not trying to make this a fake vs real argument but I think any wheel can break if it hits a curb/pot hole wheels just don't break going straight on a smooth pavement. So I say ROTA is just any other wheel but a replica brand. If that makes sense lol.
Ya i wasnt trying to stir anything either jus sayin. ANY wheel is gunna mess up with a pot-hole or anything. I base my decision more on how well its gunna stand and look to the particular driving im gunna be doing. Hardparking=get some bling, Tracking=get something more heavy duty. Nothing crazy man. Bus aint my style

I pretty much daily the Teg, & ocassionally track. So I'm looking for something that looks good, reliable, but lightweight as well, (no unsprung weight) good rule of thumb is to stay at the 1 to 1 ratio or even lighter. the biggest hindrance to performance is extra unsprung weight. ( wheels, tires, rotors, breaks, parts of the control arms, etc.) pretty much anything between the springs and the pavement, is a weight multiplier.
The argument isn't real vs fake. I'm arguing is fake rims vs fake rims.
I'm not saying there is a problem with fake rims. I'm saying ROTA is not approved by SEMA and therefor I would not even consider buying them.
Any LOW QUALITY wheel can break, crack, or shatter on impact. A good quality wheel will bend, probably hold air, but at least if anything stay together.
Volk posted a video of them torture testing their wheels and a set of replicas. The replicas were SCARY.
MY BAD.
I said Volk, it was Weds.

Had my car tuned and dyno'd. 184hp and 136tq.
Apparently, my cat is holding me back. My tuner said my torque could be 140+ if I get rid of my catalytic converter.
