Haha, thanks J! Yeah, tuck and stuff going on. Wiring is a nightmare as you can see from the interior picture. I pulled my whole harness apart. I didn`t want to delete PS, AC, Cruise, and ABS plugs just in case so they will be tucked nicely up under the dash. It is coming along slowly. I have my motor done so now I just need to finish putting it back together. I`m hoping to have a lot of progress soon!

started re assembling the short block finally ... still looking for a b16 head I heard HMO has them for $350 so I might just get it from them

 

Def because that's a really cheap price too.. hurry up before they sell out..

 

They just got back to me its $400 for a SIR2 b16 head minus the manifold and dizzy :/. I'll just finish up the short block by Thursday and hopefully something cheaper pops or at least complete

seems kinda pricey to me???? Iv seen complete heads go for around the same price or cheaper. Ill see though what ends up happening.

 

True I have too. but Hmotors heads are mint and no problems no hey say she said.. I rather spend the extra money and get there's over a "street vtec head"

 

Very true but Honda is played out period . So anything you do has already been done most likely.. But it's just want you want to do to YOUR car pretty much. but thanks for the thought but she will be going on..

I rather spend 400 on just a mint head with no problems with warranty then you do all that work to one off the street and find out it's cracked because the seller def wont tell you.. And you can find complete b16 intake manifold for like 100 bucks shipped with everything, or I'm sure someone local upgraded there manifold and got it laying around you can grab and any year obd1 or 2 dizzy will work depending on the head..

 

I couldn't agree more. I believe that you should build your car for you and only you, F#%$ everyone else! Oh, and the wife too if you have one like me! HAHA

so question. i pulled out the brake reservoir that sits on top of the abs, not knowing it was, and all the fluid fell out. i know there is 2 now. but whats the point of the 2nd one above abs? and if its empty now, should i not drive the car to pick up more brake fluid to fill it up? i would think that one kicks in when abs comes in play and i should be fine

also, the little canister that contains gas where abs is, i unbolted that top bolt to try and move it, but just released alot of air/gas. is that bad? or will it just regain compression when the car starts up...

this is what happens when you blindly work on things to see how you can tuck them haha

updates: Tucked my ABS some in the mean time before I can fully delete it, lol. Deleted ALL the intake crap under my fender. Jeez I swear my car lost 5 pounds and it sounds much better, getting air directly to the box. Also deleted my radiator overflow tank, and replaced it with a mtn dew bottle, its in a temporary spot while i look to buy a longer hose so it can sit under the fender Lastly, I got a first coat on my vc to more easily sand the imperfections...
