Hmm.. I would say a good 2 hours and 30 minutes. I took my time and I didn't want to rush anything. I will probably spend another good 30 minutes go over it with 2000 grit and buffing it out. So 3 hours total.

I heard that if you try to spray a coat of clear on it, the clear won't stick. It just slides right off. I polished my OEM exhaust and its almost been 3 years and it still shines like new. All I have to do is apply a coat of wax every now and then to keep it sparkling.

Today Im taking my teg to this guy who recently did body work for the girl who hit my car.

Obviously Im kinda iffy with letting this "guy" do it instead of a "shop". Im going to let her know before we go there that I plan on checking out how competent this guy is, and he's going to have to be pretty good and prove he knows what hes doing before I'll allow him to fix the problem.

I'll assure her that its much better to get **** done RIGHT the first time.
If this guy bangs out the dents and tells me its fixed, I'll laugh and tell her I want 14 hundred bucks to get it replaced.

I want either the fender PERFECT or I want the fender AND door done.

Ill be able to talk to him myself with her there, all the body shops so far have said to me "so you've done your homework" when its come to one thing or another. They'll both see I'm really interested in my car and a half *** fix that costs half price isnt worth it IMO.

I know. Like I said Ive hit people twice and never had to go out of pocket or through insurance. But I am worried about this random dude. I'm getting baked with my cousin right now then we're going to head down to meet her and her mom, apparently, then go meet the guy. Getting baked is a MUST because Ill care about their situation a lot less and my own a lot more.

Im not letting him touch my car unless he can show me he does some good work.

 

Yah you are too nice and that's time consuming. I see you're local and maybe near Valencia. I would take your car to where I got my car repaired and painted. You can tell how clean my car came out from the pics I've been posting. I paid $1400 to repair, replace some parts, and paint the whole outside, jams and under the hood except for bay. If you'd like more info, feel free to PM me.

LOL! I'm trying but Idk what to get, and since now it's winter tire season here all summer tires are hella expensive. If I order from discount tire it wouldn't be any better since shipping is like $250 + all the duty fee's I'll get nailed with. **** sucks.

EDIT: I just checked, Falken 512's shipped to my door would be $520.

These are going to look sooo dope on my car! Got them on NWP for $90 shipped, really cool dood and in good condition. I'm just going to wet sand them lightly and buff them out. Going to be saving up about 2 pay checks and I should have my wheels. Then another photo shoot yay!
