Got a quote for 1431 to replace the fender, color match it, blend the door, but NOT REPAIR THE DOOR. THAT is whats going to happen if she goes out of pocket with the money.

If she decides thats too much and wants to go through insurance thats her choice and at which point the insurance would fix EVERYTHING.

I assume she doesn't have 14 hundred to throw around. And if she does, I'll probably end up buying 250 password fenders with side marker cut outs, 400 to get Pride Valencia to color match it... another 300 if I wanted them to color match the door. That would still leave me with about 400 bucks for me to install the new painted fender myself. I can do it for free then Ive got 400 to throw around or I could use it all to have Pride fix it all themselves... but then I could be stuck without a car for a few days and shed have to pay for my rental. hahaha Way too much going on. Id rather she just go through insurance, but if not, chances are Ill get three new lips out of this and a chipped door

My favorite shot. I sanded from 400 - 1500. I still need to sand with 2000 and hit it with a buffing compound. There are a few tiny scratches but she shines like a beaut.
