The OFFICIAL DC Squad --Version 3--
and so you guys know...I've finally decided on a color for my Volk's...it will be kept secret until I get them done n a shoot done when they're mounted and my coilovers are on!!!
Im not aiming for being slammed
I like the Type R ride height and im keepin it like that
Even though i looooooove the slammed look
Im just a Function over Forum guy
USDM Type R seats will be in next week
Gettin them off my buddy for $75 as a pair

He must have not had the shocks set up correctly or had the coils spun so low the spring wasnt holding up the car and his arms were bottomed out..
Can you please explain your reasoning? Ride slammed on any suspension the ride will be harsh. The UCA will eventually hit the shock tower if your slammed. I can jack the car up to stock height or lower the car tucking tires and the ride is the same on my D2s. Only time the ride is "harsh" is when I "slammed" my car and the UCA hit the shock tower on big bumps.
I would recommend PIC or koni/gc anyday over a coilover made in taiwan. I would have to disagree with the person that said you can't be low and not have a harsh ride. Its all personal preference.
Tein's are quality coilovers made in japan though. D2's are the same as omni power, skunk2 and all the other little companies popping up. They are all made in the same factory in taiwan. Not the greatest for being low and riding decent.

.... haha jk no hard feelings!
