Those are close to off the shelf rates arent they?

I am at a 3.5 inch drop now on kyb agx shocks and I love the way it rides. Not too bouncy at all and rarely bottoms out since I took off the POS omni camber kits that came on my car.

Yeah, I dont plan on going much lower then where I am now. Maybe lower the front another 1/2 inch to tuck a little more tire.

I would recommend PIC or koni/gc anyday over a coilover made in taiwan. I would have to disagree with the person that said you can't be low and not have a harsh ride. Its all personal preference.
PIC is made in Taiwan also. And why do you keep saying all these other companies are not the greatest for riding low and riding decent? The spring rate and shock travel do not change on these coilovers cause of the adjustable shock body. Dropped 1in. or 3in. they will ride the same.

Only thing that sucks is it's going to cost me about $500 for some konis and a gc conversion kit so my coils will work. Plus about 75 for front tophats.

Most shock body adjustable coilovers wont slam a car unless you lose the preload

There is a big difference between PIC and D2, trust me, read up.

Dropped 1in or 3in they will ride the same is utter bullshit.

PIC are valved properly and are made to support a low drop. AMR is a even better coil I have read.

Shock body adjustable coilovers, such as d2s, will ride the same as long as you dont adjust the preload

Reading up and actually using are TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS!
I have owned D2s and Function Forms and both are better quality than Tein basics. Now the higher end Tein's are designed for a more adjustable ride, but unless you want to pay 1400 for a set of coilovers, which you aren't. You have no comparison. Your KYB's aren't even comparable to any of the prenamed coilover brands. i've autocrossed in cars with PICs, D2s and Function Forms and they are all similar. You're so far off base its unbelievable that you make these claims when you are riding on 200 dollar struts.
Both of these brands will ride and perform as well as anything from 600-800 dollars. unless you have done it? you have no idea. I can only listen to you babble about what you have read when you have ZERO experience with any of these brands let alone performing on any of them.

Hahahaha!!! You go back and read up more. Even ask Patrick94gsr for some help cause you need it. How is the PIC valved properly to support a low drop? Do you understand how an adjustable shock body coilover works (PIC,D2,Ksport,F&F). When lowering the car, shock travel is not compromised like sleeved coilovers. So like I said, a 1in drop will ride the same as a 3in drop.

I'll see you over at NWP!!!!Hahaha!!

no offense man but IMO taking advice from what you read on a public forums is pretty stupid. all everyone does is post THEIR OWN opinion. and many of them like you have never used them, but go around bad mouthing the brand because they HEARD they suck from some random person... on a forum. im not saying you cant get decent advice on here, but its rare and hard to weed out the bullshit and bogus opinions.
