im on my phone so im not going to quote like i normally would. anyway..
the bleeding procedure. it doesnt matter as long as done corrected you will be fine. not every person is the shop follows the same bleeding procedure and with that said not everyone then is following the service manual. i would say a car a day atleast gets it.s brakes bled. so enough said..
donuteh3 i think in your case it is something vaccuum related due to the stiff pedal at first("higher" rpm) then softer pedal as idle continues. how old is the car..what kind of car etc??

it is a 93 civic cx... and i dont think the higher rpms matter.. because i can stop good from whatever speed... and then let it idle, as long as i only push the pedal once it stays stiff... but if i lift the pedal a little and press it down a few times it goes down to the floor... and then if i let it go all the way and push it down again it gets stiff again.. do i make sense?
also you say there are not any leaks. but is there a fluid loss? maybe the seals are bad in the mc?
