i've never had a problem with it, but ive heard/read that the solder points in the main relay break after some time causing the fuel pump not to prime & you would just have to resolder it. THere was a write up for it, but it doesnt hurt to have another one...

The fuel pump keeps dieing on me.. All the trouble shooting I've done has lead me to the Relay.

I'm going to skip the write up seeing this only took me 20 minutes altogether. Really, just waiting for the soldering iron to warm up and me trying to make the solder look as clean as possible. But it was the cracked solder on one of the posts.( i believe its the one pertaining to the pump staying constant) I did use the write up on the FAQ section of the 1992-2000 civic forum. If you look at the first pic on that write up, it shows the EXACT same post as mine that cracked. Ill post pics later. I'm using my roommates camera and i dont know where the USB cord is.

I was thinking about calling him, but i took a solo mission on this. This has been the easiest fix I've EVER had to do to my car. Lets just hope i did it right. I'm about to go back out and throw the darn thing back on. If my car doesn't prime, I'm going to hate myself. haha. I did a pretty clean patch up. I feel proud of my work. And as i stated, I'll try to post pics tonight. It was a funny drive home, watching the tack jump around. Tried to take a video of it on my cell.... see if i can email that to myself and ill link that up too... crappy video.

interesting, sounds like what my gold hatch was doing back in the day.. I don't know if any of you remember when it used to mysteriously not prime every now and then.

it could of well been the same things I just messed with... tomorrow will tell if i fixed it. Take it out on a hot drive around town and see if it primes at every location i stop at.
