that was just a deposit... car needed a fair amount of work (lots of dings & small dents) & whole car is getting repainted... including engine bay & full interior, sir one piece, mugen lip, oem bumper & last but not least bumper plugs lol

I since worked things out after speaking to the owner

can wait to post some pics of my phantom gray hatchie & start putting it back together. & also want to thank Bert-o for handling my molding/weather-stripping order I have a complete list of part #'s & descriptions

PS I <3 that captiva blue = sex

okie dokie... wend out and spent the $10 and change on the Water Wetter. It was night time by the time the car was cool and i was able to drain a little coolant and add the product. i took out like 3/4 of a gallon from my system and replaced it with the product and straight water. Ill run around town tomorrow and see if i notice any really big difference; though when i hook up gauges is when ill be able to notice if the stuff really did the trick.

Another plus to the day, i finally got around to replacing the stock antenna, which install is a bit of a pain in the butt. Got her ran and neatly hooked up, so FINALLY i have the option of radio stations now. lol, not anything big to be excited about, but im getting a tiny bit bored of playing with the ipod.

Only other update with the hatch on my end is that my BAR re-inspection was postponed because of the state budget cut. The ref stations are going to be closed for a bit and i have to reschedule my appointment. Fixed all the problems and shes should pass with flying colors. *crosses fingers*... new cat,O2 sensor, and a little Gumout fuel treatment cleaner, paperwork all in order and im pretty confident. Cant wait until i can pick up a daily commuter so the be steps can begin on the darn thing.

supposedly until the state budget is settled. which who knows when that could be.
though it's a stupid program that probably costs more to run than it brings in, so I'm hoping its forever.

Well if they shut down that program then what are they going to do with cars that need to be REF'ed? Go back to plain simple fix it tickets?

Just an FYI before I fly to Germany ()...

I finally fixed the caster issue with my car. I now have 0* caster on both the driver and passenger sides. It turns out that the culprit was a bent LCA that was purchased from ebay last year. So if your caster is off, chances are its the LCA. It was off 2* before the new LCA was installed and when I pulled the old one off it didn't look any different than the one it was being replaced by, so I figured it was going to be something else. Luckily it wasn't.

[freak] no, I'd quit. supposedly corrections is on a "case by case" basis... but you pay a c/o minimum wage and all of the sudden you're going to see alot of c/o's calling in sick and going on vacation until the state gets their **** sraight.

short run, who cares? long run, I'd like to see them eliminate it and go to fix it tickets or just send people to a regular smog station.

from what brandy said, since they are peace officers in training they should still be getting full pay. I honestly think the 'case by case' applies only to those employees in corrections who are not sworn peace officers.

also, I might be buying a DD tomorrow... spending more money on it than I would like too...
