To put an aftermarket wheel in a car, is a hub, quick release, and wheel required or just a hub and wheel? I really don't see the need for the quick release and it will put the wheel closer to me than I want.
you dont need the quick release thats only if you feel like doing some M4D Jc|m hardpawkin ftwroflmfao.
on another note i got the hatch up and running last night fired up in one turn over i was amazed. runs good and everything. now the boring part of breaking the sob in

You don't need a quick release, but I don't think it hurts to have one for security purposes. I used an NRG short hub, which is much slimmer than previous hubs on the market, and even when coupled with the quick release the wheel doesn't sit too far forward. It's what most people use when using a quick release to compensate for the thickness of the release. The wheel sits at a perfect distance for me and my turn signal/wiper/light arms can still be reached when my hands are on the wheel.

That's how we roll
Cool, I keep the car locked in my garage and it never goes to the bar with me. I work on a military base and it's parked in site there, I am just not too much on the quick release so I may go ahead and get a hub and a momo or personal wheel.

i thought the same thing, until i installed the wheel. there isnt enough 'dish' to get it closer to me, so i end up hitting the turnsignal/wipers occasionally. i vote for nr/g

that is no optical illusion, it really is that close to the switch.
