Depends on your setup. Mine revs to 8.5k..

But you can? His block/head has been completely built. Skunk2 internals all around and golden eagle rod's + arias pistons. The block itself is bored .20 over and we're just waiting to dyno it, we're expecting 230whp. And the CTR tranny top's it off.

hey guys im stuck on what exhaust i should get... im stuck between the tanabe touring medallion, apex'i ws2, and the hks sport... any pics or thoughts would be appreciated

 

I've always liked the way Apex WS exhausts looked on Civics.

yea all three of em have that non cannon style... it sound good not to loud?

i used to have the tanabe touring medallion (looks like the ws2 and hks sport) on my sol and i was pleased with it, quiet... but the tip was 120mm so it was bigger than expected

Yeah the WS is fairly quiet and is just deep in tone.

you know if its a dual wall tip?... right now im leaning on the ws2 just cuz its cheaper and seems like its the same as the touring medallion

its all in the build you can do it with a stock bottem end as well....you just need to make sure you get the rod bolts changed....same goes on the ls/v.....but why rev your motor out if your not making power to that rpm? when my motors done ill let the dyno tell me where my motors rev limit will be. no need pushing the motor more then it wants to make power that how things go boom.
charile what his set up? is it itbs or closed intake mani? spill the beans.

Don't have one but a friend of mine does, FREAKING LOUD lol.

I have the 3 inch S2 can on the back of mine with 3 inch piping comimg off a profab header and it's stupidly loud. I use the silencer quite a lot so my ears don't bleed.
