That's kinda true my friends gsr walked a crx z6 greddy turbo kits on 14lbs. Was funny......matter of fact it was rabbitz old booger. Ask him about it.......for full details......I think it was 14lbs not sure.
I would just stay away from the b16.</TD></TR></TABLE>

and to add to that...
you had my OVER street trimed cx. dont know how the damn things weights 2400 without me in it! (actually i do) haha, but GSR swap with skunk2 mani, edlebrock header, and full 2.25 catback exhaust. stock everything else from tranny to head, stock.
next you have corys crx, bottom of the line, no power anything. D15B with i think a differnt IM and greddy turbo kit at 6-9lbs?? tranny is geared shorter. (Si tranny with a different final drive to make the gears a bit more favorable.) and this car is NAKED. nothing besides a pair of seats and what one might beable to call a dash, its so hacked up. Shoot, it prolly weights just a couple hundered pounds. I mean the car is NAKED. I no clue what he has piggy-backing the computer, but heck, damn things runs clean.
I ran him 3 times. ( a friend of ours has him convinced that he should beable to beat me or atleast stay with me for a good while.) Frist race: From the dig. Someone flagged, me being on the WORST set of tires for racing, it was a joke how i had to feather the pedels. HE had azenis, a bit more stick so he stayed even with me through 1st gear. after the shift, i started to pull, and he gave off before the end of my second gear. He was getting squirly.
Second Race: 25-30mph roll ( i cant remember ) So that he wouldnt lose control off the launch. this wasnt worth it. When we hit our make, my car just shot out! think we made it to maybe 60 when i just let off, when i was about 6 cars ahead. or something, it was bad on his behalf.
Third race: He said he wanted to be well into boost. so he wasnted to do it from 45mph. I said fine, ill be up in the powerband too. This gave a bit more of hope at the begining of the race. both cars rawring at 45mph, we pasted out mark and took off. his car stood close through the shift into second and there though the gear, but ever so quickly i gained distance. by what i though might of been 90mph or so, i had pulled ahead by somewhere around 5 cars or so, nothing different than before. but he still hell bent that his turboed can 'SHOULD' beat my car from what our other friend told him.

yea i know what do yall think about a jdm b16 with ctr pistons, omni power valvetrain, and stg2 cams for 2100 shipped to my door. comes with EVERYTHING</TD></TR></TABLE>

hey man , read my post it might swing you a certain way. but my 2 cents, im going with Dan on this one. IF you really want that B16 swap that dude has, jump on it. it will have some spunk. better pistons and what might be an ok head package. BUT heres a quicky/goody for ya. IF, you either have the cash OR like to and know how to tear apart motors. just go out and find a readly available GSR crank. Such people will tell you to get a LS crank for more torque, but the gsrs are easier to find and from what most people point out, LS cranks will run you a handful more money. the GSR crank will do you perfectly fine. AND with more stroke, and those pistons, your looking at a HIGH compression motor and a lot of bang and go.
This is all if, you can handle the responsibility of that high of compression. so you might be looking at maybe 2600 for a nastly itll driver ( ifyou do the work yourself). i hope i didnt miss something anywhere.

So yeah I was moving with the single cam. Now I do about 80ish and that's the fastest I can go. With out hitting vtec. Once I get my built motor I'm good to go. I'm going drive it like I'm running from the cops. Naw I'm just going to beat on it when I want to. Track it and mountain runs.

I could never be happy with the stroke of a b16. But like dan said for a bit more you can get a gsr swap.

Its funny cause the booger is going back to the slowest hatch out of all our friends. Lil jeffs still the fastest once it running, should be ty's till my motors done, then me, and brians si. Once we all have our set-ups done at once. Lil jeff's will still own all thu. And plus you got the good 1.5 motor.......you'll just have a cx tranny. So you'll be getting good gas milage.
